Cake Toppers

My favorite sister got herself married to a kind and comely bearded gentleman a weekend past, and it was (completely objectively) a beautiful ceremony. It was in a barn (a nice barn, sans horses and fowl), so everything had a rustic theme: gingham, burlap, and a cake that looked like it was made out of birch. I did the toppers for them, which are done using a dremel on some bass wood, which I then painted and drew the lines in with a woodburner. Also featured are their handsome cats:

For a wedding topper that puts mine to shame, check out the one Jamie McKiernan did for my friends Alex and Lindsay.
