I've been working on redesigning a childrens' book I wrote awhile back. It's called "My Little Monkey," and is about a boy who gets accidentally switched with a chimpanzee at the zoo by his (very) near-sighted mother. The boy has to track down the imposter in a clothes store (a true jungle for any kid) and capture him. This is the last two pages of the book.

I did the drawings and then set them up in a miniature set of sorts. I was hoping to get a really good sense of a 3-D space. I probably could have done the same thing digitally, though. Still, I like how it came out, even though it was probably more work than was necessary. Next time I'll play around more with the lighting.
You know, Steve, after "The Armchair Detectives", I can't see the little boy standing next to the fox without something traumatic in store for him! B is for Basil, assaulted by bears....
